The jaguar lives in an Amazon rainforest and pantanal, and their present habitat are tropical lowland , close to water such as rivers and inland and wetland. The jaguar's features now are muscular limbs and large paws to climb on trees , pad along the forest floor , and even swim in rivers and streams. Jaguars habitats are threatened because we cut down trees and jaguars are climbers and swimmers; they might not survive if we keep polluting the water and cutting down trees. Some possible features in the future is they might have gills to breathe underwater , larger teeth to capture their prey and they might be herbivores and eat plants because there isn't enough prey to eat.
