Future Capybara

The animal that I am doing is a capybara. Capybaras mostly live in moist tropical rainforests and specifically the Amazon. Some current adaptations that the capybara has consist of a heavy and barrel shaped body, brown fur, and partially webbed feet. I think this rainforest will consist of more bushy and greener areas. I also believe that many trees will be cut down due to deforestation. I believe that because of this deforestation and new change in scenery, capybaras will have a change in fur color so they could blend in with their surroundings better. I also say this because the capybara will need to be able to hide from predators and if their fur is standing out in a different color, they could be eaten by other animals.
