Squirrel Monkey

The Squirrel Monkey’s current habitat is a rainforest, but in the future due to climate change, I think that the Squirrel Monkey’s home could be changed to a savanna, where they will have to adapt to the harsh conditions. These are some of the Squirrel Monkey’s adaptations that I think could be possible. Smaller body faster and stronger legs, a better nose to smell shrubs that might have food, smaller stomach so less food needed, and a thinner coat of fur. I think that these adaptations are necessary for them to live in a savanna. If they end up living in a savanna, then they need an area to live, the ideal habitat for them would be a tree near a river and some shrubs. If they cannot find an area like this, then survival against predation is harder.
