The scarlet macaw from southern Mexico to Peru, as well as Bolivia, eastern Brazil and the island of Trinidad. When the scarlet macaw comes in for a landing they drop their tail and feet down and use their wings like brakes to slow down before grasping a fish with their feet. They are adapted to fly fast through trees. The Peru rainforest is struggling from deforestation from building roads and harvesting lumber. I think that in the future the scarlet macaw will lose its ability to fly fast because there will be less trees. It will also have to find new homes because there will be less trees which are there. I think their beak will become cone shaped and their colors will be more dull. I also think that they will become smaller.
