Future Sloth

The sloth is an animal from South American rainforests, usually located in Brazil or Cuba. They live in tropical rainforests surrounded by trees for them to hang from. Sloths are small, brown and fuzzy. They have really long nails so they can grab on to trees. They are really slow and sleep most of the day. Sloth habitats are threatened because of deforestation and degradation. In the future I think that sloths' nails are going to become shorter because there won’t be as many trees to hang from. They will become faster so they won’t be eaten by predators. I also think that instead of long nails sloths are going to have scales to substitute from the once long nails. It’s going to be like a hard shell that protects them from their predators.
