My animal is a blue morpho butterfly. They currently live in the rainforest from Latin America from Mexico to Columbia. They eat decaying fruit and tree sap from Samena trees. They have blue wings, when flashed can startle animals. The underside of their wings is brown, which helps them camouflage. The Blue morpho's most important trait and most obvious is their wings. Their wings help if predators are chasing them, this is helpful if they can’t fly.
In the future, they will be called the Sand Morpho. They will live in a dry savanna that is warm and cold during winter. The savanna is surrounded with trees and there is also seasonal water availability. If you haven’t noticed their wings change to yellow-orange, which helps them camouflage with the sand. Their food supply is the top of trees, grass, and shrubs. Their atenas growed to help find food and mates.
