The Greater Capybara lives in the rainforests of Panama, Columbia, and Venezuela. It lives along the river bank and travels in groups for safety. It has dark brownish colored fur that helps it blend into the vegetation alongside the river. It also has webbed feet that propels itself through the water. It eats different types of plants, grasses, and melons during the wet season. During the dry season it eats dry grasses. I believe that in the future Greater Capybaras will live in savannas and undergo many adaptations. The first change is a set of incisors that don't grow. The reason for this is that there will be less food to grind their teeth down on. The second adaptation will be a hump like a camel to store water. The third will be feet like a pig to run from danger. And finally they will live in large underground burrows.
