How Sloths Change to Live

The world is getting hotter, so sloths need to change to stay safe. They might grow thin fur to stay cool and find shady spots or water to rest. When their favorite leaves are hard to find, they could eat different plants and fruits. Sloths may get stronger legs and longer arms to move better between trees and become faster than before. They might start sleeping in the day to avoid heat. Sloths could also get better at saving water in their bodies. To stay safe from fires, they might grow fur that doesn’t burn easily or hide underground. They may learn to climb higher trees to find cool air and food. Sloths could become better at holding onto branches during strong winds and rain. Even though climate change is hard, sloths can change in many ways to keep living happily.
