The Capybara's evolution in 1000 years will have many changed features and it will adapt to its new environment, the Savanna! Climate change, droughts, deforestation, and forest fires are all reasons that the moisturized, plant-filled Rainforest might turn out into a Savanna. Possible adapted features of the Capybara might be its ears, fur, feet, teeth, and many other. Its not just physical features though, the Capybara would have adapted sweat glands to help beat the heat. The Capybara's diet might also change to omnivore because of the lack of plant in the Savanna, It also won't rely on water as much.
