My creatures are red-eyed tree frogs. Right now they live in a rainforest in central America. Red-eyed tree frogs have a special adaptation called startle coloration, which allows them to avoid predators. They also have pads underneath their feet to cling to trees and other foliage. The frogs also have extraordinary jumping abilities. Their diet is bugs, and they like to stay close to water sources. In the future, the rainforest would turn into a savanna. So the frogs will probably become a darker shade, and would have a pattern to camouflage with the grass. They probably learn to store food in their bodies for longer, and their feet will be shaped in a way that will help them walk on land. They would start to sweat due to dryness, and lay their eggs inside of cacti, because cacti have water. Their diet would be similar or the same.
