My animal is the Capybara. Currently the capybara lives in the rainforest on land by swamps. They eat reeds, grains and grasses and occasionally eat fish when food is sparse. Their brown fur is coarse and sparse enough to reveal the skin beneath it. Capybaras have webbed feet which help them swim better.Currently Capybaras live in South America.Capybaras are naturally threatened by jaguars, caimans and anacondas, and their young can be taken by ocelots and harpy eagles.
In the future the Capybara will be called the alopecia, and it will live in the shrubland.Capybara would also become nocturnal, to regulate the heat. They would learn to burrow like Gophers in order to regulate body temperature. They would develop longer ears in order to not take in as much heat. The capybara would also have to adapt to eat shrubs, and small creatures like bugs.
