The animal that I chose is the pink dolphin, also known as the Amazon River Dolphin. Currently, they live in the river basins of Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela. In the future, the pink dolphin will live in a warm, dry savanna because of climate change and global warming. There are bodies of water in savannas, but there’s less water than there is in a rainforest. I think that the pink dolphin is going to have to evolve and adapt in many ways in order for survival. For example, the dolphin is going to get smaller due to the lack of food source. The fins of the dolphin will also become smaller because the dolphin’s habitat will get smaller, so the dolphin doesn’t have to swim as far as it usually would. The snout will get smaller because the dolphin doesn’t have to reach for its food.
