The leopard is a mammal that lives in the Congo Rainforest. They eat antelope, zebras and gazelles. They have large muscles for climbing in trees in the canopy, and have thick fur for breezy temperatures up in the canopy. They also have rosettes all along their fur for camouflage in the thick trees. It moves with stealth, and a slow, heavy run. In the future, leopards would look very different. It would have the name Leocha, for its cheetah and leopard-like features. Due to climate change, the wet canopy would turn into a dry savannah. To adapt, the leopard would need to have spots, like the cheetah, to blend in with its surroundings. The Leocha would also have a longer and thinner tail for balance, for fast running in the savanna, and for the heat. In all, the Leopard would adapt and look different because of our rapidly changing environment.
