Currently, Koalas can be found in the canopy layer of the rainforest. It’s diet is typically leaves, but mostly eucalyptus leaves. For locomotion it relies on slowly climbing trees to get around. Their main way of defending themselves is in the trees. They also use different sounds, sharp claws, and good grip for protection. In the future, their habitat is going to be different from a change in temperature and the water level will go down. In addition the color of the water will change. Since it will cool down, there won’t be as many leaves since they will die, it will forage for different foods, changing its diet. The koala will eat insects as well as leaves. In the future it will get thicker fur to adapt to the climate change.
