Spider Monkey - Lion Monkey

My animals are the Spider Monkey. They currently live in the rainforest from Mexico to Bolivia. They generally live in the canopy of the rainforest but they can live in other parts of the rainforest. Their adaptations help like their prehensile tail allowing them to swing from branch to branch faster. The spider monkey lives in groups called troops that help them be protected. The spider monkey's diet consists of leaves, nuts, seeds, spiders, and insects. In the future the spider monkey will have bigger arms and no tail. Because they will be in a savanna with fewer trees. Some adaptations will have no tail so it can run faster on the ground. Another adaptation will have a stronger stomach to ingest poison from snakes they eat. Their diet is grass, shrubs, insects, sedge stems, arachnoids, and snakes. They will still live in troops and protect all in the group.
