Nutria

The natural habitat of the present Nutria is a wetland/marsh in the rainforest but will soon be a savanna because of climate change, they’ll adapt by having a slender body to have more speed and agility. Their fur will be reduced to reduce heat and thicker skin to block more UV light and become cooler, and a thicker tail for balance. Their feet will be more clawed and flexible and much longer to become more agile and faster. The fur will have a reduced color to hold less heat and not only will they cool off using their body but also with their methods. They’ll also dig burrows for safety to avoid predators and cool off in the burrow. Nutria will take thousands of years to adapt from a wetland to a savanna because of their significant differences, but because of the Nutria agility and aggressiveness it’ll survive.
