My animal is the Blue Poison Dart Frog, which lives in South America, in the Amazon Rainforest in Suriname and Brazil. It eats insects, such as termites, beetles, and flies. The Amazon Rainforest will change in the following ways due to climate change: less water in the Amazon Rainforest, fewer insects to eat, and a more condensed habitat for it. Because of less water, the tiny, but very capable frog will drink rain and hold water under it’s skin for more hydration and filtering the water out, for less food, it will have to get better eyesight for finding food, and for a smaller forest, the frog will have to find hiding spots in the amazon and develop camouflage to stay alive from predators, that even means hiding in trees, on branches, below ground, etc. this will change the climate, and even the animal’s life for a long time.
