Capybara

The Capybara is a large brown rodent that uses its long legs to walk through watering holes and water basins. They have sharp long teeth to ward off predators. Since it eats vegetation it has no known hunting instincts. They have soft fur. I think that the rainforest will become polluted due to climate change. The air will become filled with smoke. The water will become unsafe and dirty. There will be barely any plants . More carnivorous predators will frolic through the fields looking for prey. Since the rainforest will become a polluted desert, the Capybara will grow thick waxy skin to protect itself from polluted water. It will become a carnivore since there will be less plants. They will need to run through tall grass to stay away from predators and catch prey including mice, lizards and small rodents. They will also eat the occasional fruit and grass.
