The animal I have chosen for this challenge is the golden poison dart frog. Currently, this frog is extremely toxic, this is believed to be from their diet consisting of many different insects. Living in a small portion of Colombian rainforests, these frogs are known for their poison being twenty times more poisonous than other poison dart frogs. Within the next 1000 years rainforests are predicted to become grasslands because of the number of forest fires caused by rising temperatures. Thus it's believed that the frog would have a more neutral color palette to hide in the new dry grassy environment. They would also take on longer limbs to assist with running away from predators. They may also relocate to a pond or small body of water to hydrate their skin. In conclusion the golden poison dart frog would go through many changes to adapt to the new environment.
