The toucan currently lives in rainforests such as the famous Amazon Rainforest in South America. Its habitat consists of tall trees, rivers, and moist weather. In the future, the prediction is that the toucan’s habitat will be a desert-like environment as the Amazon Rainforest is slowly turning dry as 20% of the rainforest has already experienced deforestation in 50 years. Many other amphibians along with the toucan will also experience endangerment such as frogs, salamanders, and toads. In the future, the number of amphibians will decrease due to the lack of adaptation from other animals as other species will go extinct due to the lack of food to other animals. Any domesticated animals will not automatically bond with their owner due to the chance of mutation and genetical variation. In conclusion, this is my prediction on what a toucan will look like in the future.
