My animal is a toucan. I believe in the future our forest will have limited trees, which will leave the toucans to live on the forest floor. They’ll live in broken trees that have fallen due to deforestation. Since trees are scarce, fruits are now an extinct resource which will lead the toucans to find something else to eat in desperation they’ll resort to eating small rodent which will make them gain pointy beaks to tear and rip apart the small creatures. Since other animals have extinct prey they will start to eat anything in sight. Toucans need to be prepared, that’s when camouflage comes in. The toucans will have green, brown feathers on their back to look like plants growing from broken trees. Also, due to climate change the rainforest will go from warm to a chilly environment so the toucan will have extra feathers to keep warm.
