The Black mamba is one of the most venomous snakes in the world. It lives in the rain forests of southern and eastern Africa. Most are 6’7’’ long. The Black mamba has a coffin shaped head and mostly preys on small vertebrates such as birds, bats, hyraxes and bushbabies. I think in 100-200 years the Black mamba will be affected by climate change in these ways… I the future I think rain forests will turn into deserts and the Black mamba will be able to get sunburns. It will develop longer fangs and a longer tongue to catch prey. I think over time; it will develop a shorter body to conserve energy yet have a longer head.
