Right now the ocelot has night vision and good hearing to enhance its hunting ability at night. It has sharp teeth. Ocelots have learned to swim. They mostly live alone on the ground but can mate at any time of the year and give birth after 70 days. Their pee is water resistant and has a strong odor. They can climb but mostly are terrestrial. They have dark spots to blend with dappled sunlight.
If the world becomes a savanna, these adaptations will help it.
They will lose the ability to swim, and they will live in a group. Their pee will still be water resistant, although they will not need it as much. They also will be a full color, tan, with black markings around their eyes. Their claws will not be retractable for better grip.
This is how I think the ocelot will adapt to a savanna environment.
