Right now the blue tree python can just slither around and wait for its prey to come and then it gets it. but couple hundred years later it could mutate because of global warming and rising water. It could turn into a water creature and develop webbed feet to swim fast to catch prey. They might need to develop venomous fangs to kill prey. They will probably get fish gills to breathe under water but still be able to breathe on land as well. Due to rising oceans, I think the python will need to adapt to be a sea creature, as well as a land creature.
