The poison dart frog lives in the forest floor of Central/South America. It forages for insects which have toxins making the frogs poisonous. It moves around using short leaps. It is blue and secretes poison from the insects that it eats. In the future it will split its species with some living on land (forest floor), and some living in the ocean from rising sea levels. The land frogs will adapt to be purple from changes in diet and habitat. The water frog will adapt to be green from changes in diet and lots of underwater plants. Their diet will change from insects to fish because water is the primary habitat. In the future their tongue will be poisonous and used to catch fish. The toxins will be fatal. The green frogs will use swimming for locomotion whereas the purple ones will make larger leaps between rock formations.
