The creature shown in the image is the Dart Frog, which is the adapted version of the Poison Dart Frog. The Dart Frog is not poisonous. This is because creatures like the Fire- Bellied Snake have adapted to being able to eat the poison, so other predators might do the same because the rainforest is shrinking and fighting for food might be more competitive. Those predators will get used to eating the poison like how humans eat meat with sauces. When the predators don’t taste the poison, they will think that the Dart Frogs no longer taste good and they won’t eat the frogs. Rainforests in the future will be shrinking due to global warming causing more forest fires, so Dart Frogs will have no spots on them so that they can blend in more with the rainforest environment better. They will also have thicker tongues to catch more food.
