The jaguar has a powerful jaw to bite its food. It has yellow and tan fur to blend in with its environment. To hide from predators it ranges from black to reddish brown. It also has rosette shaped patterns on its fur to blend in with its environment. The jaguars diet is mostly medium sized mammals like deer, cabrera and peccaries. Jaguars also hunt fish in the river. The jaguar lives in the rainforest where it's wet and moist.
Due to climate change, rainforests are shrinking and changing to drier savannas. Jaguars will not have any more spots but will have dashes of yellow in its fur to blend in. It will have sharper teeth so it can bite into prey more easily. It will have longer claws to jump farther and to pounce. The jaguars diet will change to be smaller mammals and reptiles like frogs, bunnies, and birds.
