Future Sloth

The modern day three-toed sloth spends most of their lives hanging in trees. They have long nails so they can climb trees. It lives in the rainforest and it eats cecropia, cacao, fig, and hibiscus leaves. Three toed sloths can live to 25 or 30 years in the jungle. A sloth can fall 100 feet without getting hurt. A sloth’s nails are 3 to 4 inches or 8 to 10 centimeters long.Sloths have a light brown eye color to help them see at night. In the future the three toed sloth will go to the desert because the rainforest is not going to have as much rain so the sloth will not be able to climb the trees. So the sloth will adapt to the environment, maybe the sloth will walk on the ground.
