The Binturong has a long tail for climbing trees and gripping on to branches. Binturongs are mostly nocturnal and are omnivores but mostly eat fruit. Since they are omnivores they have a set of sharp and flat teeth. Binturongs are solitary and only in mating season they do the most interaction with other Binturongs. Binturongs are omnivores but prefer fruit so they have short claws since they don’t hunt a lot. Their fur is colored in dark shades since they are mostly active during the night and helps them blend into shadows of trees.
