The capybara's present environment is the Amazon Rainforest. The rainforest is filled with trees, bushes, and other greenery, and some rivers flow throughout it. Within the rainforest, animals such as the capybara live. The capybara has small facial features, dark fur, a pig-shaped body, and webbed feet. Each of these characteristics aids the capybara in its survival in the Amazon. In the future, however, many natural disasters can occur. Fires, storms, and other natural causes change the habitat, potentially making it drier, hotter, or full of water. To account for this possible change, a capybara will change and adapt, having thicker, fireproof skin, a tail, and smaller bodies. The creature would keep its small features and webbed feet. The new skin would help protect the creature against fire. The webbed feet and tail ensure that the capybara can swim faster. The small features and bodies will help the animal hide.
