The Brown-Throated Sloth has light brown long coarse fur, three curved claws, and an extra vertebra, which allows them to turn their head 270 degrees. The Brown-throated Sloth has evolved over time and used to be larger and bigger, weighing as much as an elephant, and 10 feet tall. The Brown-Throated Sloth currently lives in Central and South America and encompasses the entire Amazon Rainforest. Due to climate change these sloths will adapt and change to the warmer environment having less hair because of the heat and camouflage with the trees and grass to survive from predators in the open grassland. Not only will these sloths have camouflage to blend in with the environment and survive from predators, but they will also be able to move more quickly to eat their food faster and stay away from predators.
