Amazon River Dolphins are vertebrates that live in the Amazon tropical rainforest in Brazil. In the future due to climate change the Amazon River will have many dry seasons that will cause droughts. Due to the loss of water the Amazon River Dolphin will adapt webbed feet at the end of their tails and they will become more amphibious. Amazon River Dolphins eat many different types of fish, but in the future Amazon River Walking Dolphins will eat amphibians that are found near the Amazon River’s edge, such as frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts. When the Dolphin starts to go on land and eat different species, they will need to defend themselves with larger and sharper teeth. These teeth will also help them eat the amphibians on the Amazon River’s edge. Due to climate change in the future the Amazon River Dolphin will adapt in these ways.
