Rainforest Leopards are mostly currently found in dark rainforests in Southeastern Asia, where there’s trees, vines, and greens. Due to climate change and deforestation, rainforests will have fewer trees leading to increased temperatures, and intense storms. Leopards are good at adapting to different habitats and climates, but many animals don’t. Meaning leopards will have hard times finding food. This leads to them adapting to be better at hunting. The adaptations may include more spots for better camouflage. This will help them hide better from the animals they hunt. They’ll also be able to change their fur thinner or thickening depending on temperature. This will help them stay at comfortable temperatures. They’ll have larger and sharper teeth and claws. This will help them eat prey and hunt them better and faster. Leopard’s habitats will be different, but their new adaptation will help them survive in the future climate changes.
