Facts about present emerald tree boas, Emerald tree boas eat small mammals, some small bird species, and lizards. They can live up to 20 years old. Their only predators were raptors. Emerald tree boas are nonvenomous, and they aren’t usually aggressive either. Most of them are somewhere between 4 and 6 feet long in the wild.
Future emerald tree boas will develop camouflage to hide themselves. In a less humid environment, it would also need tougher skin/scales. It would also adapt venom glands to hunt new prey. They might develop special ways to store water, like a camel.
