Three-Toed Sloth

The three-toed sloth currently lives in the rainforest, which will be treeless in the future due to trees getting cut down. The habitat will be demolished just like all the other animals. Sloths will have to adapt to the drastic change in climate. The future sloth will be a floor sloth. It will crawl and live on the floor. The sloth will adapt to stronger legs so it can run faster away from predators, they're metabolic rate will go up. The sloth also has an added finger on its front paws as a thumb, for the use of protecting itself from predators. The sloth's coat will be brown to match the color of the muddy ground, this will be its way of camouflaging itself. The sloth will have a thin fur coat. The sloth's new habitat will be a tunnel in the ground where it will be protected from predators.
