Sloths are known for their slow movement but they have a lot more to them than just their speed! They have a few features that already help them adapt to their environment. They are actually great swimmers and can hold their breath for at least 40 minutes! You can find them hanging on trees where they like to eat leaves. They live in Central and South America where there are humid forests. Sloths have a very unique appearance. They have a small face with large eyes and their long curved claws that most recognize them by. They use their long claws to dig for food that is underground. Sloths are going to have to adapt to all of the trees gone, which means they are going to have to dig a hole underground and live in it. Their fur will help them stay warm when cold.
