Aqua Fodiens

In my illustrations you can see my idea of how a jaguar will adapt given the circumstances of climate change. Its current habitat is a tropical rainforest, its future habitat will be a savanna with little to no trees.The jaguar has a pattern to fit in with its surrounding habitat. The Aqua Fodiens will have just brown fur. The Aqua fodiens will also get shorter thinner hair to keep it from overheating. Its new name is Aqua fodiens which means water digger in Latin. Because there will be limited water the Aqua fodiens will have sharper claws to dig into the surrounding tree’s roots for their water. Aqua fodiens will shed more to get rid of parasites on their fur. This will help with the rapid loss of species, and health risks. Lastly the Aqua fodiens will get smaller so that it does not have to eat as much.
