Mouse lemurs adapting

The mouse lemur is found in the forests all along the western edge of Madagascar. Mouse lemur’s habitats are in the rain forests where it is hot yet dry. Madagascar is the only place mouse lemurs naturally call home. Mouse lemurs are small, Its head and body are less than two and a half inches long. Mouse lemurs have wet pointed noses. Their forearms are muscular with strong grasping digits which allow them to climb branches and grab their food. Though mouse lemurs are small, yet their tails are twice their length. Mouse lemurs are a reddish brown color. Mouse lemurs dine on food such as fruits, supplementing tree gum, flowers pollen, and chameleons. They also enjoy meals that require hunting. Because of them only eating meat they will gain weight. Because they are actively hunting, they will result in taking a dip in the water.
