Jaguars are marvelous animals. They are one of the biggest cats in the world. They have tan fur with black spots. These animals are located in tropical rainforests in South America. Unlike other cats, jaguars are excellent swimmers. They survive by hunting in rivers and eating things like fish, reptiles, caimans, and turtles. When not in the river, they also eat capybaras, deer, armadillos, birds and more. These jaguars survive in their environment with muscular limbs and large paws that help them climb trees and swim fast in rivers and streams. However, if deforestation keeps happening then these tropical rainforests could disappear. The jaguars would have to adapt to living in a world without any trees to lie in. This could cause the jaguars' limbs to get weaker and their paws to get smaller due to lack of climbing and swimming. Their appetite would also change a bit too.
