Sloths are slow animals that live in the rainforest. Sloths eat leaves and sometimes seed pods. Sloths have very slow food digestion and that is one of the reasons why they are slow. Sloths are known to have bad hearing and vision. Sloths sleep 15-16 hours a day and they move very slow to conserve their energy. Sloths spend most of their time in trees either sleeping or eating. Though sloths seem slow, they can move fast when in danger. Sloths move slow but can swim much faster.
