A jaguar is a tan and light yellow mammal living in the Amazon rainforest. Jaguars are most active during night so they hunt during night too, they have big pupils that help them see in the dark. They have large paws and claws that help them swim and climb easily to also catch prey. Their spots also are perfect for camouflaging in the rainforest. In the future the Amazon will become a savannah and the jaguar will have to adapt. It will have smaller pupils because it is sunny in the savannah and it will probably have to hunt during the day. It will have large paws and smaller claws to help them swim better and not climb. Their fur will be lighter, like tan, to blend in. They will also have a smaller body to slide across the savannah without being seen. Jaguars can survive with these adaptations.
