The Spectacled Owls lives in Central America, South America, and are found mostly everywhere except Antarctica. Spectacled Owls aren't in danger and are the least concern at the moment. This owl lives on the understory layer of the rainforest, and sometimes are found in drier rainforests or savannas. They are also known as knocking owls because of knocking vocal activity.
1,000 years from now agriculture, lumber industries, or humans hunting Spectacled Owls might make them go extinct. Cutting down these trees could destroy the nests, and homes of these owls. Due to people hunting owls, Spectacled Owls will have much darker feathers so they can blend in with the trees around them.Their white face disk would turn brown to help them blend in.They would have silent feathers so their prey doesn't run off.
