In these photos lots of things change for ring-tailed lemurs from climate change. Lemurs live in arid open areas and forests. This can be affected by climate change because of drought which will limit the water supply in this habitat. Lemur's foods are leaves, flowers, insects, fruits, herbs, and small vertebrates. Because there will be drought which makes all of these things unable to survive; there will then be no lemur food available. A lemur is a wet nosed primate. It keeps its nose wet to regulate heat. With even more heat, there will need to be adaptations to keep the lemur cool. One of the lemurs' defense mechanisms is scratching a predator. The lemurs will also scratch trees. With the drought, there will be no trees to scratch which will make lemurs' nails not as sharp to protect themselves. Lemurs changed a lot in the photos from climate change.
