Red pandas are covered in a dense, double-layer fur that protects them from the harsh winters. Red pandas are endangered and legally protected in India, China, and Nepal . Reasons they will go extinct is because, they eat bamboo, insects, and fruit. In 1,000 years it will be harder to find food because it will get hotter so the other animals will preserve the food for themselves. But red pandas are not good at hunting. They will have to eat a lot to save up for the future. Another reason is they will have to move to higher elevations to adapt to climate change. Lastly red pandas will have to loose a lot of fur because it will be hotter for the red pandas. If they over heat they will die. Also, for the red panda to survive in 1,000 years or more they need to have these things.
