Have you ever wondered what changes animals would experience in thousands of years? I’m going to predict how the Gila Monster will change. Traits of Gila Monsters are fast bites that sometimes inject venom. Their diet includes lizards, frogs, and insects. They store fat in their tails. Their striped body is unmistakable. They live mostly in North America and live in deserts near streams, and prefer higher ground. Gila Monsters won’t go extinct, their population is fine. As greenhouse gasses get trapped in the atmosphere, the desert may be too hot for Gila monsters, so they'll migrate to colder environments. They’ll gain speed so they can catch prey more easily. Their prey may adapt camouflage, so they'll gain improved eyesight. Gila monsters may rely on others more, as food will be hard to find. Water will be scarce because of evaporation so they’ll alert others when water is spotted.
