Red pandas live in the eastern Himalayas and China. The red pandas hunt in trees to find there food. The red pandas home is destroyed and turned into a desert. The red panda must adapt to its new habitat and here is how. The red panda changes its color from red to brown to camouflage itself from its predators. The red pandas get hot with all of the heat and now have less fur. The red pandas dig holes to find their food now because there are no more trees. Red pandas only eat 1-2 pounds of food a day because there is limited food in the desert.
