The Spectacled Caiman, a reptile in the family Crocodilia, is the smaller cousin of the american Alligator. It is a fierce ambush hunter that bides it's time for a worthy meal. However, times necessitates its evolution, giving it webbed claws, burrowing behavior, and stronger, fast twitch muscles. These adaptations give it an advantage in its environment, allowing the reptile to thrive in a new world.
