Future Creatures Challenge

The environment shown in the present picture of the Scarlet Macaw shows the bird sitting on a branch in a wet humid grassy environment. Some of the adaptations of the Scarlet Macaw include varied colors on the feathers to fit their environment around them. The environment shown in the future drawing of the Lingering Marca is in the future state of the environment that has been affected by climate change. It is still living in the Amazon Rainforest, some effects climate change has done to the environment include; increased droughts, more frequent and intense wildfires, reduced rainfall in certain areas, and etc. Some adaptations the Lingering Marca has taken place are more feathery hair for varied raindrops and protection against heavier sun/heat. Additionally, the bird has adapted to having thinner feathers to deal easier with the heat that has been caused due to the climate change.
