Climate change will really affect the Madagascar Giant Day Gecko. Trees would probably die out due to so much pollution. The gecko’s habitat may have to shift to the ocean or stay in the desert. If this happens the gecko might grow another tail because it might not be as easy to find food so the gecko could have an extra tail of fat to keep from starving. If the gecko lived on land, it would have the ability to run faster if food is far away. Since the gecko might start living in the ocean, they may have the ability to hold their breath up to around an hour. The gecko would probably grow flippers. They might also use their flippers to shade themselves from the sun or fan themselves with them. If the geckos start living on land, they might turn brown to camouflage with the desert ground.
