The Adapted Red-Eyed Tree Frog

The red-eyed tree frog lives in tropical rainforests in Central America. The red-eyed tree frog moist habitat with lush vegetation and foliage. The amphibian has webbed feet, porous skin, and wears vivid colors. Many of these characteristics formed by its habitat could very well be erased due to global warming and climate change. For example, the tree frog uses its skin colors to blend in with greenery, but due to global warming, their habitat might become more arid and scarce. This could mean that it could adapt and lose its bright colors. If their habitat is less moist, they could evolve and get rid of its webbed feet, used for traveling in wet terrain. Frogs use their porous skin to take in water and maintain balance, but without enough moisture they could struggle to survive and might balance their acid levels differently.
